Ligonier Ministries, Inc., of Sanford, Florida, is seeking applicants for the position of Controller, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The holder of this position is responsible for managing the operational functions and personnel of the accounting department, as well as assisting in ministry-wide operational and tactical planning.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Thorough knowledge of accounting systems and sound internal control procedures.
Familiarity with the financial reporting model for nonprofit organizations.
Five or more years of accounting or auditing experience, with two or more years of successful experience supervising accounting or auditing personnel.
Good organization and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals at all organizational levels.
