The Evangelical Formosan Church of Baltimore & Columbia (EFCBC) seeks a part-time youth counselor to assist with our ministry to middle school and high school students. We desire to create a structured program to help our youth to become rooted in God’s word, to grow in a loving relationship with Him, and to use their gifts and talents to serve Him inside and outside our church. Such a program would involve Christian education, discipleship, fellowship, and community service/missions. The youth counselor will work with the church leadership, other co-workers, and parents of the youth to design and implement this program. We hope that the youth ministry will encourage and train the youth to take ownership of their faith and take initiative to serve God inside and outside the church. We also hope that the youth will feel free to invite their friends (of any cultural or ethnic background).

Position qualifications:
The youth counselor should be walking in a healthy relationship with God and have the patience and flexibility to get to know the youth and meet them where they are.
Salary range:
The starting salary is $15,000/year and can be negotiated.
