Craig Combs, M.Div. ’86, Current D.Min. Student
Rev. Craig Combs serves as a preaching mentor to church planters in New England with the NETS Institute for Church Planting. He graduated from Westminster in 1986 and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at the seminary. We recently spoke with Rev. Combs about his work in church planting, his D.Min. program, and how Westminster has shaped his ministry for the past 28 years.
Every Wednesday, Westminster held its weekly chapel messages with both Westminster faculty and guests. Students, staff, faculty, and friends visited the campus to hear these men preach the Word and sing praise to the Lord every week. Most of the chapels were filmed, and are now available to watch through Westminster's Vimeo page.
Rev. Dr. Timothy Witmer, professor of practical theology, wrote an important book on church leadership several years ago, The Shepherd Leader. The book has received much acclaim since it was published in 2010. Now, P&R has made it available to a Korean-speaking audience with a Korean translation.
Mindscape: What to Think About Instead of Worrying
Rev. Dr. Timothy Witmer has recently published a new book, Mindscape, available at the Westminster Bookstore. Mindscape builds a practical action plan for changing your mental landscape—and your life—based on Paul’s rich exhortation in Philippians.

Oliphint shares about the impact of his ThM courses on his own pastoral ministry
After earning my initial Masters degree from Westminster, I wanted to dig more deeply into apologetics, to think in a more focused way about a biblical and Reformed defense of Christianity. There was no Ph.D. in apologetics available to me, so I entered and completed the Th.M. in apologetics.
On October 21 and 22, Westminster held its annual Preaching Conference. This year's plenary speaker was Dr. R. Kent Hughes, senior pastor emeritus of College Church in Wheaton, IL. Dr. Hughes spoke on the subject of the "Essentials of Biblical Exposition." Also joining him for a panel discussion was the Mortification of Spin team.
