Where is the Center for Theological Writing located?
The CTW is located in Westminster’s Montgomery Library, in room A-413 on the top floor of the Andreas Center. We welcome you to stop by to ask for help with questions you have about your writing or where you can find resources on writing. Online, the CTW Canvas page can be found by clicking Student Resources on the Canvas Dashboard
Where can I go for help with my writing?
Beginning in mid-September, current Westminster students can come in person to the Center for Theological Writing (Andreas 413) for a drop-in appointment, or schedule one online. We can help orient you to a writing assignment, answer questions about citation styles and formatting, or recommend books and materials to help and inspire you. How do I schedule a consultation for help with my writing?
Current Westminster students can meet with a CTW consultant for an hourly fee. Schedule a consultation using the link on the CTW Canvas page. Hourly rates are listed on the consultation link and are payable using a credit or debit card before your consultation begins. If you have any questions or cannot find an available time slot that works with your schedule, please email ctw@wts.edu.
What is the difference between consultation and editing services?
Consultations and editing both involve personal assistance with writing at an hourly fee, but they differ in terms of the scope of feedback provided to students. If you are experiencing writers’ block or are working on a particular aspect of your writing, one-on-one consultations are a good choice. If you need more detailed feedback on your paper, editing services are available on a first come, first served basis.
