Westminster is excited to introduce a new Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in preaching. In the words of professor R. Kent Hughes, the preaching concentration “makes good preachers better.” The program is designed to enable pastors to hone their Christ-centered hermeneutic, enhance their biblical exposition skills, and inculcate an expository methodology.
This non-residential program is ideal for pastors who desire advanced practical training and guided theoretical reflection in preaching, whether they live near our Philadelphia campus or come from a distance. Offered in a unique format, the program consists of week-long classes currently offered in August. The program requires eight courses total, including four core modules, two concentration modules, and two elective modules. All of the coursework can be completed in 4-5 years.
Dr. Timothy Witmer and Dr. Kent Hughes will offer the opening courses for the program this August. The extended application deadline is June 24th.
